To get a glimpse of the stories before listening with little ones, you can read them here. These stories are meant to incite meaningful conversation once the episode wraps up, so here’s a head start on what to expect:

• Stranger Danger - now, we don’t have to provoke complete fear in children, but this is a great time to express ways to build trust and that not everyone has their best interest at heart (even other children who might be a little older).

• Communication with Parents - the kids in the story don’t look to their parents for help, even when in an emergency - this is a great opportunity to let kids know that they can approach you despite fearing that you’ll be upset or disappointed.

• Managing Emotions - in the first episode, our children don’t make it to the next round of the Science Expo and bond over the shared experience. In addition to disappointment, we also explore fear, bravery, sadness, regret, and worry.
