Terms and Conditions
1. Deposits
A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your date and time. This payment is made online, directly through your invoice. Once a booking is confirmed, we reserve that slot exclusively for you and may turn down other events. The remaining balance is due prior to the event.
Deposit Amounts:
Bookings $250 and UNDER = $50 +HST
Bookings OVER $250 = 30% +HST
2. Rescheduling & Date Changes
If you need to move your event date, your deposit can be applied to a new booking as long as changes are requested at least 60 days before your event date and if availability allows.
If you need to adjust time only, your deposit can be applied to changes that are requested at least 60 days before your event date and if availability allows (our entertainers often have events booked before and/or after yours, with carefully planned travel time in between).
Deposits are non-refundable. Deposits may be applied to a rescheduled booking if changes are requested at least 60 days prior to the event date and subject to availability. Changes within 60 days result in forfeiture of the deposit.
3. Cancellation Policy (a.k.a. The “We Saved This Spot Just for You” Policy)
When you book All the Craze Entertainment, we reserve your date, time, entertainers, and equipment exclusively for your event. That means once you’re booked, we turn down other parties that request the same time slot (even if they’re very cute and ask nicely 😉)
Because of this, all bookings are non-cancelable and non-refundable.
What this means in real life:
-
If plans change, calendars shift, or life happens. Your payment is still owed.
-
We can’t rebook that time last-minute, and our entertainers have already blocked it off for you.
-
Think of it like concert tickets or a dinner reservation for 30 people: once the spot is held, it’s held.
4. Weather & "What-ifs"
Outdoor events impacted by weather can be moved indoors or adjusted where possible. We always recommend having a rain plan.
If weather prevents the event entirely, we’ll work with you to reschedule (availability permitting), but refunds are not issued and you still must pay for the day.
This policy allows us to:
-
Pay and protect our entertainers
-
Prepare materials in advance
-
Keep our pricing fair (instead of padding it to cover last-minute cancellations)
In short: when we say yes to you, we’re all in and we ask for the same commitment in return.
5. Rain Dates/Backup Dates
Both the primary date and the rain/backup date are held exclusively and therefore both are billable. Since both dates are reserved and unavailable to other clients, both dates are billable, even if the rain date isn’t ultimately used.
6. Communication
We’re always happy to stay in touch leading up to your event! For quick questions, we recommend checking your invoice and our FAQs first - most of the common details live there and can get you answers fast. If anything’s still unclear, we’re just a message away.
7. Early Arrival & Setup
Each booking includes 15 minutes of free setup time, prior to service start time. If you need us onsite earlier, additional setup time is available at $55 per hour (can be prorated).
Please plan guest arrival times around the official service start.
8. Payment Terms
Payment type must be selected at the time of booking. Any changes to the payment method require a minimum of one week’s notice prior to the payment due date.
All payments are due by the date listed on your invoice. We pride ourselves on paying our entertainers fairly and on time, which means timely client payments are essential to our operations.
Payments not received by the invoice due date will incur a $40 late fee, plus 3% monthly interest on any outstanding balance until paid.
9. Additional Provisions
All prices are subject to change unless already invoiced. We reserve the right to modify services based on safety and logistical considerations. Any additional services requested during the event may incur extra charges.
10. Force Majeure
All The Craze Entertainment shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing its obligations where such failure or delay results from any cause beyond our reasonable control. Such causes include, but are not limited to:
-
Natural disasters or severe weather conditions
-
Government actions or regulations Public health emergencies
-
Civil unrest or strikes Acts of terrorism or war
-
Technical failures beyond our control
In the event of a force majeure, we will notify affected clients as soon as possible and work to reschedule services when conditions permit. While we cannot guarantee specific alternative dates, we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate rescheduling within a 6-month period.
