Periods Don't Stop. Neither Should We.

Period poverty is still a thing. Toronto and Los Angeles are two of the world's most diverse and progressive cities, but so many young people still struggle to access basic menstrual supplies. Seems a little out of touch, yeah?

This definitely isn't a charity in the traditional sense – it's women supporting youth, and we're always looking to partner with the right people and businesses to help make things happen! 

Main Objectives:

- Increase campaign awareness (by sharing on email lists, social media, and within direct network)

- Assistance with packing and distributing boxes

- In-kind donations to include in boxes (think lip glosses, socks, keychains, small jewelry etc.)

We have two levels of partnership:

1. Official Campaign Partner

2. Campaign Ambassador

 

Here's the Difference:

Campaign Partners play a crucial role in amplifying our message AND driving donations via our links while Ambassadors simply help to repost content to their audiences (just once a week, super low-touch).

Campaign Ambassador Responsibilities:

  • Repost our campaign content to Instagram stories directly from our profile

  • Optional: Create original content if inspired to do so

Ambassador Benefits:

  • Listed as official campaign ambassador on our website once the campaign wraps up

  • Invitation to any of our campaign promotional events

Campaign Partner Responsibilities:

  • Share graphics from the provided files 3-5 times per week to IG Stories (you can also re-post directly from our accounts)

  • Include clickable donation links in your posts

  • Engage with your followers around period poverty awareness

  • Optional: Packing & Content Day

  • Optional: Create original content linked back to our Amazon Wishlist, IG or webpage 

Partner Benefits:

  • Your logo on both websites (All The Craze and Oh So Dope) with a clickable link to your platform 

  • Invitation to any of our campaign promotional events

  • Invitation to our Supply Packing Day (we’ll also be capturing content)

  • Access to all campaign photos, videos, content and impact metrics for your marketing

  • Social media shoutouts

  • Impact report detailing campaign outcomes

Q: What exactly is Red Alert 2025?

A: Red Alert 2025 is a grassroots campaign to provide a full year of period supplies to teens in need. We're building on the past year's successful campaigns. We collect donations through an Amazon Wishlist, then distribute the supplies to teens through partner agencies.

 

Q: How are donations collected?

A: All donations are collected through our Amazon Wishlist. We don't accept monetary donations as we aren't a registered charity and cannot issue tax receipts. The Amazon Wishlist ensures transparency through direct product donation.

Q: How will the supplies be distributed?

We partner with local agencies, schools, and community centres who help identify teens in need.

Q: What if I don't know the answer to a question from my followers?

A: No problem! You're not expected to be an expert on all aspects of the campaign. You can:

  1. Direct them to our official Instagram page (@allthecrazetv)

  2. Email their question to contact@allthecrazetv.com

  3. Share our webpage link

Q: What if someone wants to donate in person rather than through Amazon?

A: While we appreciate their enthusiasm, we've streamlined our donation process through Amazon to ensure consistency in products and simplify logistics. You can:

  1. Thank them for their support

  2. Explain our Amazon-only donation policy

  3. Offer to send them the wishlist link directly

  4. If they insist on physical donations, ask them to email contact@allthecrazetv.com to discuss options

 

Q: What if I can't make it to the Packing Day event?

A: While we'd love to have you at the Packing Day, we understand schedules get busy! If you can't attend:

  1. You'll still receive all digital campaign assets and impact reports

  2. We'll send you selected photos/videos from the event

  3. Your partnership status and benefits remain unchanged

  4. Consider sending a team member if your organization has multiple staff

 

Q: My primary platform is TikTok, not Instagram. How can I participate?

A: We welcome TikTok content! While our primary assets are optimized for Instagram, you can:

  1. Create TikTok-friendly vertical videos about period poverty

  2. Direct viewers to our website for donation links or include links in your bio

  3. Share your TikTok content with us so we can cross-promote 

Q: What if someone wants to volunteer their time instead of donating?

A: Currently, our volunteer needs are limited to package deliveries. If someone expresses interest in volunteering:

  1. Thank them for their support

  2. Direct them to email contact@allthecrazetv.com with "Volunteer Interest" in the subject line

 

Q: How should I handle negative comments about the campaign?

A: While rare, some people may have questions or concerns about the campaign:

  1. Remain positive and educational - many people don't understand period poverty

  2. Focus on the impact: "This campaign directly helps teens in our community"

  3. Avoid getting into arguments; invite constructive dialogue

  4. For particularly problematic comments, you can screenshot and send to us

  5. Remember it's okay to delete and block

Q: Can I create my own content instead of using provided assets?

A: Absolutely! We encourage creative interpretation of the campaign. Just ensure you:

  1. Maintain the core messaging about period poverty

  2. Include the correct donation link/information

  3. Tag @allthecrazetv

Q: How often should I post about the campaign?

A: For Partners: 3-5 posts per week during the campaign period. For Ambassadors: At least 1 post per week But remember, quality engagement matters more than quantity. We'd rather have one thoughtful post that generates donations than multiple posts with little impact.

 

Q: What if I can't post during the suggested timeframe?

A: Life happens! If you need to adjust your posting schedule:

  1. Try to maintain the overall number of posts if possible

  2. Focus extra effort during our key push dates towards the end of campaign

  3. Let us know if you'll be completely unavailable for a period of time We appreciate any support you can provide!

Q: How do we know the supplies actually reach teens in need?

A: Transparency is important to us! We'll provide:

  1. Documentation of our agency partnerships

  2. Photos from our packing day (with appropriate privacy measures)

  3. Distribution confirmation from our agency partners

  4. Impact statistics in our final report

Q: What happens if you exceed your donation goals?

A: That would be amazing! If we exceed our goals:

  1. We'll first increase the number of teens supported beyond our target

  2. Any additional supplies will be donated directly to shelters and youth agencies

  3. We'll document all additional donations in our impact report

  4. The success will help us set even more ambitious goals for next year!

Q: How will we know the campaign's results?

A: All partners and ambassadors will receive a comprehensive impact report 4 weeks after the project wraps up, which will include:

  1. Total number of products donated

  2. Number of teens supported

  3. Estimated value of donations

  4. Photos from the packing and distribution process

  5. Recognition of all partners and ambassadors
