The slime, the mess, but not in your house! Kids will have a blast creating their very own slime to take home. We’re talking mixed colours, added glitters, beads, foam pieces and gems. It’s a 100% hands-on experience limited to 12 spots, here’s what to expect:

  • A fully facilitated, immersive workshop

  • Ice-breaker activities to warm up the group

  • Kids learn the do’s and don’ts of slime making

  • Fun add-ins

  • Each participant designs a cool container to take slime home

 

Workshop Schedule

Welcome & Introductions (10 minutes)

  • Put on aprons

  • Meet new friends

 

Slime Making Fun (40 minutes)

  • Slime tutorial and trivia game

  • Mix your ingredients

  • Choose your colours and additives

  • Get messy

  • Design containers

 

Creative Play (10 minutes)

  • Slime stretching contests

  • Bubble popping fun

 

Pack-up Time (10 minutes)

  • Clean up station

  • Q&A Session

  • Wash hands as a group

What Parents Should Know

  • All ingredients are safe and washable

  • Wear clothes that can get messy

  • Every child takes home their creation

  • Perfect for ages 6-12

  • Parents are welcomed to stay on-site to grab a drink and food during the workshop, we’ll be facilitating in a corner of the brewery

  • Children will be supervised by staff 

  • If participants need to use the washroom, staff will use the "buddy system" and escort both children at the same time - it's recommended that kids use the washroom before the workshop

FAQs

Q: What age group is this workshop suitable for?

A: The workshop is ideal for children ages 6-12. 

 

Q: Is the slime safe for children?

A: Yes! We use only non-toxic, child-safe ingredients with contact solution as our activator

 

Q: What should my child wear?

A: Please dress your child in clothes that can get messy. We provide aprons, but accidents can happen! T-shirts are perfect, sweaters that can roll up at the sleeves work too as well as zip up sweaters that can be removed and put back on after the messy part of the workshop

 

Q: What if my child has allergies?

A: Please inform us of any allergies when registering. We can accommodate most common allergies and have alternative ingredients available. 

 

Q: What additional information do you need from parents after registering?

A: After registering, you'll receive a quick online form to fill out with emergency contact information, sign-in and sign-out info, and any other notes about your child that we should know

Q: Do parents need to stay for the workshop?

A: Parents are welcome to stay on-site and grab a drink/food or leave and return at pickup time (see menu here). We have adequate staff supervision for all children and your contact information if we need to get in touch.

Q: What if my child can't finish their slime?

A: Don't worry! Our instructors help ensure every child completes their slime. We allow plenty of time for errors and assistance when needed.

Q: What's your cancellation policy?

A: Due to the nature of the program and limited registration supply, we do not offer refunds, however if you would like to transfer your ticket to a friend or family member, just send us a quick email

Q: My child has special needs and requires a support worker, is that alright?

A: That’s absolutely fine! Just let us know ahead of time so we can have adequate spacing for the extra adult at the workshop table
